In my life I ate so terrible food. I enjoy Indian cuisine a lot and ate in various restaurants in various countries already (Berlin, Koln, Warsaw, New Delhi). I didn’t know you can be Indian and cook so bad. I ordered palak panner and could taste only salt. The other dish was with Korma - I could taste only sugar, no Indian spices aroma, at all. Naans were also bizarre, never ate something like this, with some strange herb although it should be plain naan. I am surprise it works at all serving so terrible food. Such a shame for Indian culinary output! I wouldn’t eat it next time even if gratis.

Presumably the only Indian restaurant in Thun and they do justice to Indian taste buds. It’s located right opposite the train station - both outdoor and indoor seating available. The hospitality is outstanding and the owners are very welcoming towards Indians. The lunch buffet is economical and worth a try.

Unfortunately food is very salty and totally without Indian spices. Very dissapointing.

Casual place with very good Indian food. I specially like the Thali dinners, tasty and good value for the money. The interior inside is nothing special, outside is a small seating area for sunny days. The owner is very friendly and makes a point of stepping by when he is around. Conveniently close to train station.

If you are in thun, this is the joint for Amy Indian family. You get very well cooked tasty Indian food. The host is very friendly and she takes care of the people around with care. I could see a lot of locals who were enjoying the chat and relaxing here. Goes to say a lot about homely the place could be. Thank you ma for the delicious food.

5 Stars for the authentic Indian food served here. This place is highly recommended for anyone who wants to try Indian food. The owner was very polite and welcoming. We ordered Thali which was very affordable and had variety of dishes with unlimited rice.

Maha Lakshmi restaurant is 1 of the best in Switzerland. We ordered 1 Chilli Naan, Baigan Bartha and Aloo Mutter Paneer. Both Baigan and Aloo sabjis were served with lovely Basmati rice. Chilly Naan was so soft and 1 of the best we had. Both sabjis tasted great. Great ambience, clean washroom and amazing view from the restaurant as Thun is beautiful. Value for money and worth every penny spent. Keep up the good work guys
