This place is amazing. Stopped here on our road trip from Calgary to Toronto and I am so glad I did. As someone from Lebanon I can attest that the food here is authentic and really good, tastes just like they prepare it in the Middle East. The Fattoush salad was made in front of us, really fresh and so flavourful, I highly recommend it. We also had soujok sandwiches which were great and spicy. The staff was super friendly too I believe it was the owner and his wife, they greeted us and we had a nice chat while the food was being prepared. Definitely recommend it.
The couple that run Damascus Donair are extremely pleasant to deal with and they make some really tasty food to boot! I'd handily recommend anyone who's on the fence about stopping in give them a try. And to anyone who's complaining that these aren't "traditional donairs" who really cares? This is a restaurant and almost all food is open to interpretation. Their food tastes great and the staff is awesome, what more do you need? Do you go to taco Time and complain that they aren't proper tacos too? All in all. Great food, great staff, and an even better price. 10/10 on my books.

I've Iived in Montreal for 3 years where I got used to getting quality Middle Eastern takeout almost daily. This little place very closely replicates those flavours. I think I've had everything on their menu by now, and every last thing is immensely tasty.
