Guys is amazing called at 1230 on road and he still got me in room for under 60 for the night absolutely amazing service

We stayed here overnight on our way back to Niagara Falls from Alberta. The rooms are very clean and cozy and the beds are very comfortable and even had 4 pillows to each bed. The shower was great with lots of water pressure. The wi-fi signal was also very strong. This morning our car wouldn't start as it's -32C (Feels like -42C). The owner gladly gave us an extension cord to plug in our block heater and even let us stay in the room past 11:00p.m. He was very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an affordable room to stay in. Thank you Modern Motel for having made our stay that much more enjoyable and for helping us out in our time of need!

A short pit stop for a single or couple travellers going to west from east. Big room, but quite old. The place was clean, although some of the things inside the room felt archaic
If your used to a hilton or four seasons hotel, you would want nothing to do with this place. To rest your head for the night,cheap....this place is perfect. The owner was very nice and respectful to me. He waited up until 1 am almost for us, we really appreciated that. He didnt have to do that. We travel with dogs so we are used to the pet friendly rooms that are not the prettiest. It had mold on the bathroom ceiling and the heater vent coils looked like someone squashed them down. It was clean, just very well used. Great location, 4 kms from highway 17 / highway 11. Was worth the money to us. We would stay again , quick stays only. Beside a tim hortons and dairy queen.
The owner who works at the front desk is extremely rude. I was asked a lot of personal questions about my stay and he made me feel very uncomfortable. NOT a place to stay if you are traveling alone.. I was told to bathe and groom my dogs before coming and to bring my own pillow and pillow case because I have coloured hair. The room still had garbage from the last person and my counter top still had food scraps. I was HURRIED out before checkout time in the morning and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
room is really dirty, i got bit by bed bugs during my stay and found a used soap in the shower from previous guests , tub was really dirty dark and no towels at all! worst motel ever....
Dirty room, a lot of spiders and mosquitos inside and a fridge that does not cool. Even the bedsheet seemed to not had been changed. I don't know how a place like that can stay open. COVID cleaning measures are far from it. It should be shut down.
