Edited: Thunderhawk followed up with me the very next day after my review and has offered to work with me on the issues with my fur baby. Here's to hoping we can get this all resolved. We did the board and train. I was told there would be lifetime follow up including calls and communication from the trainers and continued support following the boarding/training. I have never had anyone contact me to provide ongoing support or follow up. I work with my dog pretty much everyday. My dog is terrified of the e trainer, yet he will not respond to commands without the it. I don’t want him to be afraid of me. Thunderhawk came highly recommended, so I struggled to come up with the money to have my puppy trained there, now I don’t have any financial resources to go anywhere else. It may he a great place if you are local to their area. I was told trainers come to Nashville often, we have never heard from anyone, much less seen anyone. I am sad and disappointed. I want to have a good relationship with my dog, he really is a good dog, but I was hoping for more in the way of support.

I have 3 rescue pups, so when I moved to Cookeville, the first thing I looked for was a dog trainer. I tried a basic obedience class at TSC with my youngest Copper, who six month before couldn't go in public without peeing on himself. Trainers Jessica Presley and Carmen Trojcak were amazing. I followed up the class with private sessions at Thunderhawk with Jessica Presley. Copper earned his CGC through Intermediate Obedience with Sarah Bingham and two AKC Rally titles thanks to Sherry Spivey. With in home private sessions and virtual sessions Jessica Presley has helped me work through issues with my dog Tank pushing around the other dogs in our home. Not only has Christie has put together the most amazing group of trainers that go above and beyond for their clients, but she has also fostered a wonderful, caring community of dog people that I have come to rely on. Thunderhawk is hands down the best place to get help for you and your dog!!!

We have sent two german shepherds to Thunderhawk. The staff is great and did a great job with our dogs.
