Received a text from a Dr at the surgery to collect my prescription. When arriving there's a new system whereby you have to press a buzzer now and you are asked if you have any Covid symptoms before being admitted in, and was followed in by other people behind me. Stood at reception when another patient came and stood at the side of me and leaned in to apply hand gel to her hands after me, I had to say \you are supposed to stand back at a safe distance\ the person said \I know\. Even though this was witnessed by the receptionist nothing was said. I explained that I'd received a text message for me to collect my prescription, she couldn't find it, so I had to find my message on my phone and show receptionist so she could read it, she took the phone from me not wearing any gloves etc, so I had to take some tissues from the desk area and sanitise before using again, then had to wait for a new prescription to be signed by another doctor. In the meantime while waiting in the seated area people were coming up to reception and joining up together as they couldn't get out of the building. The social distancing needs to be monitored correctly by this practice.

Very bad Poor service Waiting for an appointment more than 3 weeks now
Its very difficult to phone them as its either not answered or engaged. Most requests require multiple calls as things are not done correctly first time. Repeatedly prescribed adult doses for children which, thankfully, were spotted by the dispensing pharmacist. A shame as it is a nice modern surgery with decent parking.
This doctors is not what it used to be, phone lines never open on time and if you manage to get through without being hung up on, no appointments. Or they dont call you back when they say they will which has led me to miss the call and then they will not attempt to call you back until you ring them again and go through the same process. No empathy or understanding given by a vast majority of staff who are either just straight up rude or condescending towards you. It pains me to give you 1 star when you deserve nothing.
July 2020 Update: rang the surgery a week or two ago only for them to hang up numerous times, the answerphone tells you your the 2nd in line but then after carries on ringing and no one answers or they hang up as I said. I told the surgery what had happened, probably the receptionist - she only apologised but nothing was taken forward. On that call I asked why I had to get my tests done again as I had to make another appointment for them - the receptionist told me She will call me back as she would find out..she didn’t call back, I had to call back even though I told her I needed to make an appointment with a doctor so it was important. This surgery needs to be shut down. Dr Singh was the best doctor there before these lot came here.
