We had our wedding at Thursford and we cannot recommend it enough; for a wedding or just a visit. The venue is a lovely day out to enjoy the grounds or the museum, or visit at Christmas time to enjoy Fantasy Land and the Christmas show. The unique styling of the venue and friendly nature of the staff is what convinced us to have our wedding there. The staff were informative, honest and flexible; they were truly all about enabling us to have the wedding day we wanted, instead of the 'wedding blueprint' other venues had tried to force upon us. What you receive as a service is excellent; the time, help and resources afforded to us was unparalleled. The recommended vendors were also fantastic. Our guests were definitely wowed by the different facets of the venue, and how the atmosphere changed from morning through to evening. Everything flowed and was well facilitated, owing to the numerous rooms and spaces made available and the staff managing the day. Honestly couldn't find anything to complain about, we can't thank them enough for hosting our incredible day!

Christmas begins! It was towards the end of November, but this place began that Christmassy feeling. Plenty of parking, easy to find, and possibly he best show outside of London. Food a bit overpriced.

We had our wedding here and we couldn't wish for a better team of people than the guys that work here!! Emma and Charlie were fantastic at helping us organise everything, Chris was brilliant on the day helping to keep things running smoothly and the bar staff were fantastic! The venue is absolutely stunning and we wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else! Everyone we dealt with went out of their way when we had an issue with the cake (after travelling for 3 hours) and managed to sort an alternative out in their own time! Holly Lodge is absolutely stunning and every bridal party needs to stop here!! Also an amazing place to visit for the museum!!

Went to Thursford Christmas Show for the first time. Seats seemed expensive so didn't know what to expect. But it was worth the money a very spectacular show very professional. The singers and dancers were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
