Lol Shofar is a warm, welcoming place to worship. It has a tradition of congregants actively participating in services, not just as spectators. They also offer lots of ways to learn and grow, classes and events. The religious school is excellent and there is strong programming for families.

Welcoming, gifted rabbis who make a palpable, sincere effort (along with many of the long-time congregants that attend regularly) to actively enjoin and include others to be part of a spiritually uplifting, if voluminous community experience. I've been pleasantly surprised by the changes there in the last few years and when I feel the call to community, consider it a beacon of light in an otherwise, more affluent than affable area.
