Awesome spot for wind- and kite-surfing enjoying the lake. Danny was a great instructor, and everyone was very friendly and encouraging. I’ll be back for sure on my next trip!

Peter, the owner, runs a good business. I took kite surfing lessons here, going through the 3 classes (3 hrs each) and have a solid grounding of kite control and water-starts... now I just have to keep practicing. Shutout to the local dudes who work there, they're great with beginners of all ages.

Great experience as a total beginner with kiting. The spot is beautiful, there is hardly anyone one the water and most important the teachers are incredible. I spent 4 days with John and felt super safe and like I got really strong foundations. Would definitely be back here if I was coming back to CR

Great Operation!!! Very accommodating group. They have PWCs on standby in the water and they are there to help you out. Thanks for the Cabrinha gear rental Tico Wind!!!

Great place to windsurf and kite. Really strong winds. In February is high season and material is limited- better make a reservation. I was lucky to get some hours on the water. Next time I will make a reservation. Thanks for the flexibility, Peter!

I was not a total beginner kitesurfer, I had already been introduced to it during a trip a year ago in WA. Despite conditions being very different and never had been seen kitting by Dani (my teacher during 3 days) he very quickly understood my needs and where I was at. He managed to give me a lot of confidence on myself and got me kitting in just 3 days! Their spot has a very nice vibe. Views are unique. Just be ready for some heavy rains from time to time (at least in Dec) :)

7 day use fee, small restaurant on site. Water access slippery so bring booties. Wind is very gusty on Arenal so be wise otherwise it's a 30 jetski ride back.

Unable to reach facility due to very, very poor quality of road (bottomed and stuck out in mud) - worst in all of Costa Rica and not safe (and I live on a dirt road in Vermont and manage “mud season “ easily). Owner Peter very condescending and not very kind. No refund offered even though I could not access facility. I am out 300. If you’re sure that you want to go to sail Arenal I would suggest NOT prepaying as I did. Pay when/if you can make it down their private road.
