My mother was diagnosed with cancer and discovered she had high calcium levels at one of her appointments with the oncologist. They emitted her to the hospital and the same night they tried to give her calcium. Thankfully my dad was there to stop them. They did not treat her with the respect and care she deserves while she was there. There was very poor follow through on all aspects of the staff. The doctor was good, however, and would recommend him. Overall, standard of care was lacking.

Even though I pre-registered for blood-work, I waited 45 minutes as other people arrived after I did and left before I was even admitted. They were not that busy. The nurse that drew blood was very good.

I am surprised by all the negative reviews. My Fiance and I have both had surgery at Mercy and have been in the er several times. We've both had amazing treatment by all the staff and we have had excellent treatment as well. We drive from Fremont every time we need to go. I trust Mercy 100%!
