There are a lot of reasons to train in karate: fitness, improved confidence, acquire skills in self-defense, prepare for competitions, or learn an attitude and philosophy that can benefit you in other areas of life. Tiger's Lair is great for helping it's students learn and grow in all of these ways. I joined 3 years ago and I now feel healthier, stronger and more confident than I ever have. I have also seen many other students benefit from the teaching and training of Sensei Lemieux (from young kids about 4-5 years old to adults in their golden years). He is patient, professional, and great at teaching kids (he knows how to make physical training fun!) Whether you want to dive deep into the traditions of Karate, or just need an effective regimen for physical fitness, I would recommend Tiger Lair's Karate any day of the week.

Our daughter has been a student of André’s for about 3 years and it’s been an amazing experience the entire time. He’s amazing with kids, and is amazing at what he does. We have, literally, nothing but good things to say about him. The atmosphere is always positive and the kids are always happy and always seem very excited for their classes with him. Due to being in a pandemic, he usually has a waiting room for parents, but, unfortunately it is not open right now. Usually it’s an fun little place to hang out and talk to the other parents while our kiddos are doing karate in the dojo! Everything is super clean, and they have cubbies for their shoes, and coats! Again, Andre is so professional, and keeps our kid in line if need be, we are so thankful we put our daughter into Karate at Tigers lair! Best investment, our daughter is a lot more confident after just 3 years of karate, she used to be so shy! If you’re hesitating, don’t be, this is the right place for your child if you’re looking for karate! Thanks for the great years Andre!

I strongly recommend this dojo. My son started 5 years ago when he was in grade 1. He is always happy to go even in March breaks and during summer camps. The Sensei has a lot of experience and his discipline are remarkable. My daughter started later too and both love karate.

When my wife and I first brought our son to karate he was scared at first. But as time went on he now loves it. He respects his sensi and is always excited strand wants to advance his belts. Covid is hard not being able to stay. We trust sensi. Our son has never been happier. It has helped him at school to focus

Great place to take the kids to learn discipline, exercise and learn self defence at the same time. Sensi Lemieux Really Knows his stuff, my son David Has Been going for years now and will continue going as he enjoys it. Kids are all pre screened before entering the dojo temps are taken as soon as you enter, hands are always sanitized and social distancing is practised while entering . I highly recommend this dojo to anyone looking to get their kids into something that will really benefit them.
