i just returned from the Fall 2018 bear hunt. I had a wonderful time. The accommodations were rustic, but more than adequate. The food was excellent. The showers were hot. The people were very friendly and accommodating. The hunting was excellent! I will be going there again. I would highly recommend Kammoe.

What a great experience! I just got back from a fall bear hunt with Kammoe and sons, and the hunt was amazing! The entire staff are family, and by the end of the week they make you feel like you are a part of that family as well. The owner operator is Moe Patry and his sons are Joe, Pat, and Mario which all help with baiting, tracking, and skinning whenever possible along with Jeff, who is a close family friend. Phil, and Evilyn are the camp chefs(amongst other things), and they do know how to cook! Every day we received a full hot breakfast, sack lunch, and a three course dinner including soup, main course, and always desert! I never expected to get this kind of food in a hunting camp! Then to top it off 5 of 6 in our hunting party shot bears! My first bear ever weighed in at 318lbs! The camp consists of 2 trailers, one being the sleeping quarters, and the other being the mess hall, kitchen, and restrooms/showers(hot water). There is also another sectional cabin used for larger groups. The camp is not "fancy" but it provides warm, dry, comfortable beds, hot showers, great eating, and fantastic company. Moe's brother Bob is a taxidermist that does exceptional work on bears as well so i would plan on leaving your trophy with him. To summarize, go hunting with Kammoe outfitters! You will not regret it!
