Lovely island managed by Parks Canada. There is a trail that runs in a loop. About an hour from start and back. Bring some goggles or mask and snorkel to enjoy the clear waters. As of posting (end of August) water was about 19c near the big flower pot. You'll have a blast if you're into snorkeling or freediving. The water is the cleanest and purest that I've ever swam into. The rock formations underwater are beyond oridanary. Hard to believe they are natural. As of date, there are only 2 operators that are allowed to drop of visitiors: 1. Blue Heron and 2. Bruce Anchor. We tried the Bruce Anchor and the tour includes the area of the Big Tub where the Sweepstakes Wreck and Grand Rapids are.

We travelled to the island with Bruce Anchor. Clear view of shipwrecks from the boat. Beautiful colour of water! Multiple lighthouses to be viewed on the way. Good experience overall. They even help change boat timing if you want. Nothing available to eat or drink on the island!

A trip out to Flowerpot Island is a great way to experience Fathom Five National Marine Park. Private tour Boats leaving from Tobermory take visitors over shipwrecks and offer opportunities to see some of the islands in the park. Once you arrive at Flowerpot Island, visitors are treated to crystal clear waters, the Lighthouse Museum, trails, and of course the unique geology of the islands which includes caves and the famous Flowerpots. While you're on the island, remember: - Carry out all your garbage - Pack water and snacks - Don't climb the Flowerpots and remain on the designated trails - Take only pictures leave only footprints

Very nice! Many spots to take awesome photos and enjoy your time! There is a nice trail around the island with bathrooms and scenery all around the building. The tour guide was great! She told us all about flowerpot island, the bay around it, and the history! Loved it!!!! 10/10

Highly impressed with the investments made into this attraction since last visiting! There is a new docker built, updated washroom facilities and more seating. The island is well maintained and great for hiking plus seeing the two flowerpots!
