It's okay. The food is very good. I was impressed and pleased with every meal we ate. The staff were kind, and the dining hall was always clean. The main facility, the King's Hotel, is fairly nice. The Griffith hotel is also nice. Their other facilities are quite dated. Expect something that was built in the 80s and has had minimal improvements since then. All things considered, it's as clean as something three decades old can be. They lost their lake several years ago, and that's hurt them considerably. Much of what was former trails and slides and docks is now closed. Therefore, if you have a youth group, there's not a lot of entertaining things to do: one sizeable open field, an old basketball court, a playground and a few tennis courts. No pool or other water facilities. Their auditorium and large facilities are not so hot. The soundboard is glitchy, as were their projectors. Our group had major issues with keycards working and with water pressure. If you're looking for a place to house a bunch of adults and do a retreat or meeting, it's okay. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. It's clearly past its heyday. I hope it recovers, but I'm not sure it can or will without major work.

The past two years, I have had the blessing of working with Bill, the Conference Center Director and had nothing but a great experience. The whole staff team have bent over backwords to help us put on a conference for 300-400 people. Will use again if we can!

I came here twice. This summer will be the third time that i come with my church... we manage to fit over 1000 church members here and we all had a blast. From canoeing to swimming, this place is great fun!! The food is great, the workers are very friendly, and the worship building is very big! We stay for a whole week at a time, and unless the weather's bad, there's literally nothing negative to say about this place!

The location was your typical retreat center with recreation like lakes, canoes, basketball and other camp facilities. The rooms range from simple hotels to camp lodging that house 6 to a room with bunk beds. The food is great and there's an ice cream area for 2 a scoop. The worship center is simple and enclosed. Good to accommodate smaller churches with 20 or so members

The Georgia Baptist Minister's Wives Retreat has been held at this conference center over 8 years. We have never had a bad experience. Bill Wheeler has a wonderful staff. The people are so easy to work with and we love seeing them each year. It really says a lot when they remember you each year. Everything is always clean and set up as requested. The cook is wonderful! Over the years the food continues to get better and better...no one will ever go hungry! They have remodeled the meeting space that we have used for many years and love the new changes! One of the greatest things I can say is the cost is minimal for what is included. This makes it affordable for our ladies to attend. I highly recommend for a retreat, conference or just time away!

Staff were so sweet! Facilities were beautiful. Our particular shower was weak in my particular room in the cabin, but the other showers in the cabin were good. Very accommodating! I look forward to going back.
