Fine people,you can feel like home over there

I wanted a turkey hamburger that had sweet potatoes as a side dish and an extra salad. But the waitress told me that it was "too much" so I have ordered only the hamburger without the side dish. We were told that we can have the salad from the buffet. Usually, when I am being told about a "salad buffet", I expect a variety of salad leaves and fresh produce such as tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika etc, different sorts of oils and vinegar, as well as some already-mixed salads and some dressings. There was indeed a recepient with fresh salad leaves, but the fresh produce stopped there. There was an ready-made pasta salad, a cucumber-dill ready-made and a third ready-made sort that I cannot remeber. No oil nor vinegar of any sort but some (again!) ready-made dressings that we had no idea what they were because it was nowhere written. When the order came, my husband received what he ordered, I have received a beef hamburger instead. During our entire dinner, the waitress did not even look at us or asked us if everything was fine. We had to almost go in front of her in order to ask for the bill. And the restaurant was not even 50% full! Luckily, someone that seemed to be the head- waiter came and asked us if everything was alright and then we told him I have received the wrong order. He was nice enough and did not charge us for the wrong dish. The only thing we appreciate was his effort of fixing a bad service that someone from his staff delivered.

The weirdest restaurant service experience ever. The waiter acme to ask for our dinner order three times! And he wrote on his notepad every time! We only odered two main meal and one soup. Why was it so difficult to take order? When one main served, we asked for plate to share food with kids. After the 2nd meal served, we reminded the waiter that we need plate. He responded in a very rude attitude. When we were eating, he came to our table for countless times to ask how meals were. Made me totally didn't want to talk to him anymore. The food wasn't great. Just want to leave this restaurant as soon as possible.

Nice food, traditional/authentic atmosphere. You should try the day menu, for us it was good value for money.

Good hotel with good food. The only negative was the "ruhe tag" and that we had to go to another hotel for diner. During the ruhe tag the hotel provided a free bus transport between the two hotels.
