I wish I had a good experience here. I paid 400 for a baylage and cut that was not executed well. My hair had a lot going on before hand and I made this very clear to the owner. She seemed comfortable working with it. My hair is now extremely damaged and looks like a bad ombré not a baylage. The blonde does not suit my skin tone well at all. They market themselves as the blonde specialists but I disagree.My hair is thicker even though it was thinned out, I’m assuming from the dryness. I have black roots and aggressively blonde ends. I expressed my concerns and the owner didn’t care to refund me a portion or offer to fix it. Nice ambience in the salon but extremely disappointing work. I paid 400 to wear my hair up every day. EDIT* I did NOT ask for my money back or for free services even though I wanted to. I know other girls in tofino that are unhappy with how damaged their hair was after going here. I’ll pay anything for good hair but this isn’t good. I won’t recommend this to anyone. I did use the products you gave to me in the trial size and they were honestly not good. I used ones from Aveda that instantly made my hair better. I’m sure the other 10 people that have posted 4 star reviews today did have good experiences but I did not.ALSO, what hair looks like in the salon, freshly done and blown out is different than every day life. Anyone’s hair can look good after a salon visit. In NATURAL light is when the stark blonde was evident. I was VERY clear I didn’t want ANY of my roots showing. My friend was with me and remembers. Everyone who's seen me agrees its not a good dye job. This is the only negative service I’ve had in tofino. If I had known I would need to wait months to fix this, i would have gone somewhere else. Unfortunately very eye opening. The owner has blocked me on social media because of this bad review. I have no ill will. I simply did not have a 4 star experience here. Everyones different. Stay Classy.
I’ve been seeing Petra for a few years now for my blonde highlights, bolliage and styled cuts. I’ve always had amazing service with her and great longevity with my hair colour and styles. Her studio is bright and beautiful her personality is lovely and charming. She follows proper COVID protocols. I can’t say enough nice things about her. As a resident of Tofino, Im so thankful for Petra’s services and her awesome self in our community!

I have been seeing Petra for 10 years and I’ve had the most amazing experience in her salon. It’s consistent, friendly, beautiful and the raddest vibes!! I get constant compliments on my hair and I hand out her card once a week! You will be smiling when you walk out the door and booking your next apt as you leave:) 5 star salon with 5 star service!!!
