Was dubious from past experience but was really good! Good cheese burger, perfectly cooked chips, and a delicious fish burger.
Kumara chips seemed stale and very dry. Disappointing.

terrible fish and chips. when i tried to pick up the square chunk of frozen shark it refused to be picked up and slithered out of the batter in a pool of grease and landed on the ground. i would not wish these fish and chips upon even my worst enemy. my fish looked like and tasted like supermarket bought frozen fish, the kind that comes in a cardboard box. on another note the chips i ordered were firm and undercooked and dripped with grease when you squeezed them. if you're ever driving through tokomaru and think you want fish and chips, change your mind.
Had the works burger and deep fried donuts...so delicious!! Also had chips with garlic salt....yum yum yum...great hot chips
