This museum is a Saitama prefectural museum with the theme of aviation on the grounds of Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture. It is a symbol of the park and was opened in 1993. The Tokorozawa Aviation Museum, which was built to commemorate the birthplace of aviation, develops aircraft exhibitions, scientific experience exhibitions, educational dissemination activities, etc. from the perspectives of aviation history, science and technology related to the sky, and culture.

Spacious aviation museum with lots of items and explanations

Big park for Japan! During Cherry Blossom season it is quite full and popular. This use to be an old airport, hence there is so much space. I especially like running near the small pond. There are small festivals and events held here throughout the year too.

Beautiful park with museum, baseball park and tennis court. Hanami is perfect here. It's beside the Koku Koen station, bus terminal and nearby the Tokorozawa city hall.
