I was in need of a repair to my lower chimney wood box due to extensive raccoon damage. Canaan was one of the few places that actually responded right away and gave me a quality estimate and I felt like they understood what the problem was. There was structural integrity damage. They are busy so it did take a little bit of time to get scheduled out when I was able to move forward; however, when the crew was here it was clear they knew what they were doing. Mike came to personally hand the project off. The crew was efficient and quick. I could hear them tag-team communicating on what needed done. The end result was they straightened my leaning chimney, built a better design for the lower box, to repair the integrity, and tie it in to the existing structure. They did a detailed job. They cleaned up after themselves and did a daily check-in. I would absolutely recommend Canaan. It was refreshing to work with a company and contractor who knew what they were doing after many bad experiences with other places for various other things. Below are pictures of before and after.

Absolutely fantastic company to work with and their mason/brick crews are top notch! Had exterior walls and tuck pointing repaired on a very old home (was in bad shape), new outdoor brick kitchen, kitchen and bathroom remodel and walls removed. They did excellent work, and I'm very picky.!A few minor changes which comes with renovating an old home, which were for the better. They also re-sealed my driveway which also looks fantastic! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANAAN COMPANIES!
