Monasterio de Comendadoras de Santiago (Convento de Santa Fe) - It is built on ancient Muslim ruins, specifically on the former site of al-Hizam (also «Alficén»), and has been the product of successive reforms and remodeling. The convent was built throughout the thirteenth century by the Order of Calatrava, between 1253 and 1266 the Gothic-Mudejar apse. Around 1494 it passed to the Order of the Franciscan Conception and in 1503 to the Comendadoras de Santiago. Already in the nineteenth century, in 1873, it would become occupied by "Ursuline" nuns of the Holy Family of Loreto and in 1973 it would be abandoned, passing the State to become the owner. It has a space called «Bethlehem chapel», in the southwestern part, with an octagonal floor inside and square on the outside, in which Fernán Peréz was buried around 1242 and Sancha Alfonso, whose body was moved to the chapel in 1615.
