Amazing place to visit. Very friendly personnel. They downloaded the audio guide to my phone and I listened a tour with very good translation. You can visit this place for free if you are over 65. It works for US seniors as well - just have to show your ID.

The El Tránsito synagogue is the common name for the synagogue of Samuel ha-Leví, and is the most important example of Spanish-Jewish art in existence. It was built in the 14th century, and is decorated with Mudéjar elements and beautiful geometric and floral motifs, and inscriptions in Arabic and Hebrew.

Great piece of history, free admission You can see the history of Jewish existence in Spain during the moorish rule. I wish that they keep it as Synagogue and not putting the bell and cross above the roof, just to keep the original Synagogue as is

Wonderful. Google hours wrong. Open at 1830 on a Saturday (and it was free!)
