Coffee was good as usual for Starbucks but the service was very slow. Normally I get my drinks fast but today they decided to take their time and chat while I waited more than 7 minutes for my coffee

Super cozy with a large 2nd story space. Lots of seating. Barista who served us spoke great English.

Not a positive experience per se. For a tourist spot, the server barely spoke english. Thankfully, she managed to key in our orders of a peach citrus infused green tea and a java chip light. Unfortunately, they somehow managed to mix up the pineapple and peach citrus tea drink; and when my girlfriend who is allergic to pineapples tried to clarify this, was told “The pineapple drink is pink and peach is yellow (she was given a yellow drink) - and that peach probably tastes different from where we’re from (Singapore)”. Now we may not have a stellar food palette, but we knew precisely how pineapple tasted like. As mentioned afore, we approached the counter in a bid to get the correct drink, but were firmly rebuffed. We had to resort to engaging another customer in a blind taste test (yes, we had to drag an innocent bystander in), who identified that we were indeed, served pineapple instead of peach. An honest mistake is totally acceptable, but for the servers to insist they were right based on the colour of the drink (pineapple is pink??) and to make us feel silly by talking about the disparity in tastes based on country - now that was demeaning and unacceptable. To top it off... I wasn’t served a java chip light, but a normal java chip instead. I didn’t bother trying to clarify this though as I could easily ignore the whipped cream and perhaps walk up a flight of stairs or two to work it off.
