Small, not really a big thing. There are more beautiful riservas in the area. But if you happen to be around it's worth to do the mtb route.

Quiet and lovely abbey surrounded by fields, small patches of woodland and hills. No monks left after the 2016 earthquake (the main buildings were deemed unsafe, although still standing), but a small cafe with very good pastries and a restaurant still operate. Its highlight is the monastery church, which is furnished in Roman antiquities, but some of the main pull factors are the wonderfully kept running and nordic walking tracks which span a variety of sights, lengths, difficulties, as well as the gardens in the immediate surroundings of the abbey.

Wonderful, flat easy walks. Nice bars and restaurants to chose from. Easy parking with good toilets.
