Good quality cabins and canvas to cover screens, ample space for camping tents and numerous trail short cuts throughout the camp grounds. Clean kitchen and eating space, enough for vendors in cafeteria. Several parking areas to leave your car for duration of your stay.

Camp Timber Trails (CTT) is a great place to host your Summer Camp, Retreat, Music and Arts Festival, etc. Reconnect with nature on more than 400 acres in the southern hilltown region of Western Massachusetts -- right at the edge of the Berkshires. Amenities at this former Girl Scout camp include a private pond with separate swimming beach and boat launch areas, a large open field, an amphitheater in the pines, a variety of cabins, wash houses, a shower house, professional kitchen and dining hall, and a dedicated indoor dance space with a "sprung" wood floor.

It's a Girl Scout camp, I have been there twice, once for a winter Snowshoeing event and once to camp in the Spring. It is a fairly nice camp that is well maintained and kept in reasonably good repair. This camp definitely have that half built and poorly maintained feeling that you might expect. All campsites have bathroom buildings with running water, flush toilets electric light and a single outlet. The "Cabins" are in good repair and are of the partly wood with screens and vinyl flap with wooden door type, not the wood and canvas or all canvas type, staff cabins have electric light, but no outlets. Most campsites have a covered pavilion for campsite activities, but the further out sites do not. There is a large indoor program center that is also used as a storm shelter. While the camp has an infirmary, it was not staffed at the time I was there so I can only say it was a building in good repair with a furnace, bathrooms, a small kitchen, and a hot water heater. While I did pass the riding area and stables I never did get to really look at them so I can only say they looked from a distance to be in the same state of repair as the rest of the camp. Overall for a camp facility run by a non profit entity this camp is probably one of the best I have ever been to, that includes many state run campgrounds. I would return to Camp Timber Trails if there was another event there.

This camp ground is definitly the place to go with the family or just by yourself to get away from the world. The best part for us is upon entering the park its a long dirt road and adds all the outdoorsy feel to every aspect of it. It isnt a expesive trip the camp ground is really inexpensive and a great trip included. The grounds keeper Jon is amazing. He is very kind and smiling and all around a good guy. Always willing to help out and can be of help in a lot of different ways. I am so happy to have gone to this camp because there aren't any other like it. The lake is nice and the caferteria is really well kept. Especially for it being an oitdoor camp cafeteria it was really clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our two week stay. Thank you for the great memories and the chance to have a fun time free of stress of the world. We will definitly go back by the end of summer and wont ever go anywhere else.

In the midst of beautiful tall trees and wildflowers, a haven of community lodges, cabins, and tenting areas. A place that inspires both togetherness and an internal journey, both of which are in the larger journey through the woods.
