Kevin and team just finished removing a 1,000 gallon tank that was 40% underneath a deck - and also at the top of a hill. It was a very complicated removal - but it was done flawlessly. The new Roth tank was put in 2 days earlier - which also required precision in measuring and drilling for the new fill/exhaust and fuel lines and that installation was also done perfectly. When I found out a couple of months ago that my underground tank could potentially be leaking, I went into panic mode. Not knowing much about how this process works, I immediately began calling every company I could find to get some help. After having numerous companies come out, give proposals, I had narrowed down my options between 2 companies- MTR and a competitor. Although MTR was a slightly higher proposal, I wanted to support a smaller business- especially during the tough times we are facing. I couldn’t be happier with my decision! Kevin and his crew were so knowledgeable, friendly, and fast working. They installed a new unit for me and removed the old one. I was kept in the loop along the whole process and learned quite a bit along the way. We hired Kevin to replace our oil tank because he was local, responded quickly to our questions and provided us a quote within minutes. Kevin arrived on time for the job, was courteous and professional. The work area was left spotless. There were no surprises and we paid exactly as quoted in the contract. I contracted with MTR (Kevin) to remove a 1,000 gallon in ground oil tank. His price was better than most of the other quotes I received. He set a date and was on time. The biggest problem was a 25 foot tall tree sitting on top of the tank location. Kevin is a magician with the excavator. He was able to save the tree with some excellent excavator work. The entire job took about 4 hours. Kevin is very polite, friendly and professional.
