This was the third times to rental with OTS. Two others was in Hokkaido which was perfect, but Okinawa experience wasn't good. Lots of traffic because OTS station is far away airport. Too many people are waiting on the line. For the one not rookie to drive in Japan like me. I think that's too much procedures to rent a car. They explained lots of japanese rules which I already knew. Overall, if you are first time to drive Japan, OTS is good choice. Otherwise, you may have better choice. The best place to rent a car in Okinawa! There’s a reception in the airport and they will send you to the OTS place by bus once you’ve arrived. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Then you will be asked to listen to the instruction and things to know before you drive in Japan. They can speak many languages so if you have any questions they will be happy to help. Very clear informations about Traffic rules in Japan. They have pictures and videos to show you everything you have to know. You might need to borrow an ETC card first for the payment of the toll. The car is very clean and comfortable. They upgraded us for free since we travel in low season. Returning process is also very convenient and fast. The petrol station is just next to it so fill up before you return. ( When they give you it’s full tank ) All in all, I had a great experience with OTS and will rent a car with them again next time!! Highly recommended!!
We rented three 7 seaters van there (2 Alphard and 1 Vellfire) they are in good condition and everyone enjoy the ride. The only problem is there are too many morons keep driving slow in fast lane in Okinawa highways.
We really liked this place because it was a great car for a very good price while we were in Okinawa visiting for 7 days. We got a Nissan Note which had plenty of room for economy sized car. We drove all over the entire island every day and only used 1/2 tank of gas!!
They provide great services, free pick up from Naha airport to there. Easy and convenient to rent car! Also, you can book various tickets there at a much cheaper price, like the Okinawa aquarium.
Cheap rentals. Great service got a free upgrade. If you return the car early extra fees apply. Also earliest is like 6 am. If you are Singaporean and Jetstar flight is 9 you can make it to the airport on time. After all the people due to return the car early is there they call a shuttle bus to send you over to the airport.
Easy to book online. Very efficient staff. Good value car rental. The best way to explore Okinawa.
The pickup wait time for people with reservations is ridiculously long. You have to wait in the same line as people with not reservations. Took over an hour to pick up the car. Some good English speaking staff. They do have good, well kept cars though.
