Control Engineering Europe (CEE) has, for over 30 years, been serving Europe's senior automation engineers with responsibility for the design, management and maintenance of their plant or factory. As manufacturing and process sites increase the digitisation of their operations and with Industry 4 becoming a reality, there is a noticeable shift in the pace of technology change. Even with the cloud of uncertainty hanging over global trade, automation solutions and predictive insights are still sought after. The goals of our audience, however, remain the same - to keep their plants and systems running efficiently and safely, minimise downtime and increase productivity. The introduction of ever more innovative solutions and immersive technologies look set to change the way that engineers work. With these innovations coming thick and fast, our role therefore at CEE, to inform and educate our senior engineers about these developments and offer insight with real-life situations, is even more important. Published 8x a year, CEE is available in print and online. We also serve the community with research and focused events both physical and digital.
