Great place to stay if your coming to visit the great city of Toronto. Comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. They come with a fridge, microwave and linens. I recommend this place. Great staff and great reasonable prices. House is close to all amenities and TTC transit is 1 block away in 2 directions.

It's a great location. Walking to art gallery Queen West Spadina Chinatown Clean - my double room has full bathroom and 3 beds.

Riddled with bedbugs & centipedes; no clean bedding provided as well as no assigned beds. Lacks amenities such as kitchen and lobby. Owner infringes on guest privacy, namely concerning daytime visitors in private rooms (not shared); closely considering this hostel's policy, indicating rules & rights concerning visitors.

The staff were perfectly fine. Besides that we booked a double room with private bathroom and there wasn’t enough room in there for us to both stand at the same time. It was basically a closet. Super disappointing. The “kitchen” is just a fridge with two microwaves on the front porch and there was literally rats everywhere. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re a single person passing through. Also the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Felt like a box spring with a sheet on top.

Room is very clean and very tiny. Only enough room for a bed a small table. Plus side was it had its own bathroom. Downside is the fridge available is shared and it's on front on the porch. Food left in there from at least a month or more ago. Mentioned it to the owner still haven't changed after 4 days. That's the reason for only three stars. Good location just tiny. major complaint with people coming in and out from anywhere up to 3:30 in the morning talking loud in their rooms drinking playing music even though that is strictly forbidden in the rules.

So the room. Was clean. But.55. Per night. Plus 15 bucks for a private bathroom, plus 12 dollars for parking, so in the end we ensed up paying about 95. So. You make a reservation online, then you get there, then their is a phone on the wall, then you pick it up, then it rings and a person that doesn't speak English awnsers, you tell then that you are there there. They say wait 5 minutes. And you wait. 5 turns in to 10, 10 turns in to 30, then you get tired of waiting so you call the number and hear a poor girl getting yelled at saying in a Chinese accent go go now hurry go go go. Then another ten minutes later she shows up and you finally get in the room. I think my favorat part was tbe complimentary used soap that comes with your 15 privat f-ing bath room. Next time ill pay the 8p buck and and stay in a real motel. Oh i didnt mention the fact that its just an old house converted. Great place. Not..
