We stayed in the top floor suite for four evenings in August 2019. Our previous accommodations in Toronto had become somewhat jaded, and we were looking for a better place. We found it at the Comfy Guest House and Suite. It offered everything for which we were looking: good ambiance, cleanliness. comfort. and attention to detail. The top floor is reached by two rather long staircases, but so what? If you want privacy, you need to climb up to get it. It is spacious. The washroom is large with a good bath/shower. It includes a fridge and a microwave. Overhead and portable fans keep you cool during humid nights. The bed is sensationally comfortable. It also includes a private rooftop deck. WIndows stick a bit, so it takes a bit of time to figure out how they work. All in all, a place to which to return.

Had a comfortable stay here, and at a friendly price! They were super helpful with our many questions. The name says it all, it is a Comfy Guest House.

This place is fabulous! The people are wonderful, kind and helpful. The place is super clean and has everything you need to feel right at home, and the location is great (close to downtown). The neighbourhood it is in, Cabbagetown, is very charming, too. Great value.

I two nights at the guest house in a wonderful room overlooking the street. The location is excellent, a short walk to train station, and tram stop right around the corner. The place is very safe and owner is very helpful.

This was my first experience of staying in some guest house. I was afraid, being a girl, but my stay was excellent. This was very safe, clean & affordable place. I will definitely come back next time.

This is not a nice place at all. The first thing I was asked to do was take my shoes of and put some flip flops on and they were dirty. The room was so dark I had have lights on all the time. Everything looked grubby and very worn. My money was taken as I was taken into the room. The kitchen was up a very steep stairs. I found this very difficult indeed. I was asked not to put to much toilet paper in the but to put it in the bin. My bin wasn't emptied at all nor was my room cleaned. There was a wardrobe but no drawers go clothes. The bathroom was ok.

Very clean and neat place and for me it was quite as well.. Although the room I reserve was the smallest.. But I enjoyed my stay.. The man in charge (Mr. Tahir) and the guest house responsible (Mrs. Vivian) are so cooperative and supportive. From Comfy it will take up to 10 minutes walk for Bike share.. Shoppers.. Dollarama.. And many more local and halal restaurants

The Comfy Guest House is in Cabbage Town - lots of nearby pubs/restaurants ("House on Parliament" does great beer & food - and serves late). You can walk to the city centre in 20 minutes or walk 400 yards and catch a regular bus in (the 505) which costs around 3 Canadian dollars (about 1.80). Our host Tahir was very efficient and helpful. He organised a great tour of the city and a trip to Niagara - he even helped us out at the last minute when a major road was closed which would have made it difficult getting back to the airport. We would certainly use the Comfy Guest House again, it is reasonably priced we and can thoroughly recommend it to you. Many thanks Tahir!
