I have purchased two watches from Sam in the last 6 months. Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th anniversary, and a Longines Heritage Classic. I only wish I had met him sooner; I have an extensive watch collection and when I met Sam, he got to know me well. Sam is extremely knowledgeable, cares for his customers, and is genuinely a nice person. The customer service is top notch and I HIGHLY recommend Gem Bijou.

Sam is one of the most knowledgeable seller (owner) that I've seen in a long time. Would highly recommend this store, you can either make a purchase online or in person and you will not be disappointed.
On March 28 2020, I ordered a black dial Hamilton Khaki Field from Sam (Owner) through Chrono24. When I received the watch, it was defective as the minute hand was bent upwards and so every time the second hand came around it collided with the minute hand and the movement jammed. I reached out to Sam to advised me to send the watch back and that he would issue a refund along with reimbursing me for return shipping. The whole time he was never apologetic and even seemed annoyed and aggressive over the phone. I shipped the watch back and when he received it, I called him and he said that he no longer had any black dial in stock but he could offer me a white dial or a Black PVD version. I took him up on his offer for the white dial but then he said he would no longer be reimbursing me for the 20 return shipping because its a "straight exchange". I'm really confused then as to in what scenario he was agreeing to reimburse me the return shipping then as in a return scenario, he still won't reimburse me. Same passive aggressive and annoyed tone, he said the return is out of his control since its Chrono24 doing the refund. So as of today, I have returned the watch, I have not been reimbursed for the return shipping, I have not received my money back for the watch and I have not been given an option where I am not losing out due to him sending me a broken watch to begin with.
Great online shopping experience at gembijou.com! Due to Covid-19 lock-down the only choice to purchase a watch these days is online. Gem Bijou had great discounts, therefore I ordered a Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. Shortly after completing the order I received an email from Sam who explained the watch I ordered online was no longer in stock. Hamilton upgraded the movement on those watches but he could offer the newer model with upgraded movement at the same discounted price I saw online. He also explained that it may take a few days for him to get the watch shipped from manufacturer. Shipping was within 2 days once I received notification from Sam that the watch was received by his store. I will not hesitate to use Gem bijou in the future.
This jewelry store is a gem in the heart of the financial district. The staff at this location is wonderful and provide exceptional customer service. the items they have in store are modern with affordable prices. If you had to purchase an item for a special occasion I wouldn't go anywhere else but this store.
I received excellent service here for repairs done to two of my watches. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable. Wide selection of fine watches as well. Highly recommend!
