Excellent hotel, the staff was friendly and helpfull. The rooms are ok, i guess i was expecting a little more for an intercontinental, the fridge was locked and couldnt open it. The tv wasnt working so well most of the time. On the positive side the beds were very comfortable, the rooms was clean and the location was perfect (the view on both sides of the hotel looked awesome), close to restaurants Union station, the cn tower, metro stations etc. I ordered breakfast in the morning , was served hot and fresh, directly to the room (they bring you your own table ) Overall i had a nice stay but, was expecting a bit more from the actual room amenities.

CN Tower View through window. This place is amazing for staycation. During covid can’t access the entire hotel yet couldn’t complain their friendly hospitality.
My 3 favorite things about this hotel: 1. Location - easy and close access to Union Station, including the train to Pearson Airport; 2. Friendly and very helpful staff (thanks!); and 3. Finally (!) hotel rooms with enough lighting for whatever you need to do. Clean, and covid protocols are being followed and enforced. Plenty of elevators and beautiful views. Nice

The hotel is super clean and room is quiet. Haven't had a chance to try their spa amenities as they were closed. Overall this hotel worth the money I paid. Just a tip: you have to tap your room key in the elevator before you can select your floor. That was a bit of an awkward experience.
I will start by saying big THANK YOU to Melissa Symonds and ZHU, Wenxu and also the staff we didn’t get the chance to know their name during our stay from Dec 11 2020 to Jan 4, 2021! Highly recommend it and this hotel and the staff exceeded the expectations. We felt so warmly welcomed and were taken very good care of. What’s more, it’s pets friendly, our furbabies enjoyed the stay as well! We were moving from Dubai to Toronto, I researched lot of hotels which have professional COVID-19 protocols in place and also pets friendly. Out of like 30 hotels I wrote to in Toronto, Melissa was the most responsive, professional one who truly understood and cared about our needs. Moving to a new country is not easy, especially it started with a 2-weeks quarantine and also have two cat babies with us. I have to say, it’s more than just a smooth service, it exceeded our expectations in many ways! During the stay, ZHU Wenxu made calls every few days, constantly checking if we needed anything else, asking us how our stay was. The first day when we checked-in, tons of toilet paper, water, coffee capsules and etc were already arranged in the room, this was very important to guests like us who were in quarantine at the hotel. And two cat feeding bowls were also there, so sweet! Tourism industry was disrupted by COVID-19, running a hotel under such climate is not easy, ZHU Wenxu, Mellisa and the staff on duty during our stay all deserve kudos, bonus! There are no marketing dollar spent can compare to great staff who truly represents IHG group’s reputation and the value of customer service! Hope InterContinental Toronto Center will have full occupancy very soon! Best,
Melissa, David and the housekeeping manager made my stay truly memorable. I have the 'pleasure' to conduct my 14 day required self isolation at their hotel and they really did look after me, from securing me a room with a treadmill (part of their workout from home package with their gym being closed', to some fantastic food recommendations and with weekly calls checking in to see if I needed any more supplies they treated me like family. I honestly can't wait until my next stay with them!
