The foods are excellent. Especially the Sweet Sour and plum one. The price is no expensive, the food definitely worth it. I ordered delivery before, they are very thoughtful. They always cut holes on the box to keep the food crispy. I had dine in as well. The environment is good, and the service is great. The girl with golden hair is very nice. She gave very good recommendations. BEST FRIED CHICKEN ON SPADINA. WORTH TO TRY!

I ordered fried chicken and there’s hair all over it gross. It is not clean and caused me diarrhea the next day. Will not order again. Wish I could give 0 star.

I’ve ordered the popcorn chicken, chicken wings, the chicken whole piece (forgot what it was called) and sandwich here and everything was good. The wait may be long for some items because chicken does take long to cook.. Been here over 5 times and we can’t complain. Sichuan spice is good with popcorn chicken. Good customer service out at the front too, i recommend

Mind blowing chicken sandwich. Juicy and crispy with careful attention to the flavour details. Szechuan flavoring was a good choice. I've never used the term "elevated fast food" but I honestly feel like it describes Iron Rooster. Fries are crispy, coated type. Portions are quite large. I enjoy the outrageous gift bag the food comes in. Fun. Staff is friendly and willing to explain the different coating options. I love northern chinese so spicy cumin is a favorite. These are powdered salty coatings, not sauses per se. They fuse with the fried coating. Delicious! Cheaper fried chicken can be had elsewhere but it probably won't be nearly as good. If you love crunchy meaty textures I highly recommend the cartilage nuggets. Amazing! No idea why it took me so long to experience these. Bravo Iron Rooster! !

Horrible experience! Firstly it took so long I think only one person was working. Got the original chicken burger and it was horrible! I think undercooked it made me feel sick I couldn’t finish it, the fries were okay but could be better, I think also needed to cook more and same with the deep fried banana. I ended up having a tummy ache and wanted to throw up but was in bed and fell asleep. Ended up waking up 4 times to run to the bathroom, bad diahrrea. Safe to say I won’t recommend and I won’t eat here ever again! Hire more people at night if you need to live up to your rating at night!

This place is very close to my university. I often order their delivery when I stay at school during my final week at midnight, and I usually dine in there as well. I highly recommend the chicken wings, sweet potato fries and chicken sandwich. The chicken is very juicy and large. Compared to McDonald's chicken sandwich, this one definitely wins. For the flavours, I personally recommend SiChuan Spice and plum sweet sour. The service is also excellent, the cashier will bring you the food to your desk. The beautiful cashier with blond hair always smiles and brings me a good mood for the day, which is one of the reasons I always get there after finishing heavy work at school.
