I was recommended to John's tutoring by a friend and I couldn't have asked for a better tutor. John has a wealth of knowledge about the LSAT from his personal experience that transcends into a unique way of approaching each question type. The LSAT is complex, but John's teaching style resonated with me; his style is very comprehensive. Before teaching, he is incredibly honest with you so that you can understand where you are at and where you need to be in order to reach your greatest potential. One thing that I love about John's tutoring is that he genuinely wants to see each of his student succeed. He makes frequent comparisons to the high test scorers and demonstrates the skills that high test scorers make habitual. He reminds you that you are in a competitive playing field to keep you motivated, and ultimately pushes you to learn from your mistakes. I'm very grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from John before I wrote the LSAT. Thank you, John!

John was recommended to me by a friend who had worked with him a year before to great success. After self-studying for eight weeks, to an unsatisfactory result, I spoke with John and created a plan of attack for my next LSAT attempt. After working with John, I was able to improve my official LSAT score 15 points in less than eight weeks! The process John takes his students through helped demystify some of the pain points I was stuck on. The lessons and strategies I gained through my sessions with John led to significant score increases in Logic Games, Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. I would recommend John to any friend or family member that is looking to improve their LSAT score. If you are feeling stuck with LSAT, no matter how high or low you are currently scoring, I believe John can make you a more confident LSAT test taker.
John was recommended to me by a colleague I worked with at a courthouse and it was the best thing to happen for me in the lead-up to applying for law school. I scored a 168 (96th percentile) on my first test after utilizing John's services and was accepted to every school to which I applied in Canada (U of T, Osgoode, Queens, UBC -- likely could have been accepted to several top 10-15 law schools in the States as well had that been of interest) in great part due to John's teachings. Prepping for the LSAT is overwhelming because of the different strategies every outlet will suggest. John simplifies this - he has synthesized every strategy down and knows the most effective way to tackle everything you will see on the LSAT. He does it in a very logical way so you know exactly what you need to learn. There is no extra fluff -- you learn step-by-step what is required to optimize your test-taking strategy. You can spend the same amount of money as you would with John by going to one of the big-name classes (that just use their resources for advertising instead of hiring the best teachers or creating the best curriculum) or you can spend that money with a private 1-on-1 tutor that will meet with you as it fits for your schedule and reply to any question you have outside of meetings. I was able to study for the LSAT during a fall semester of undergrad because of his flexibility. John is also a very pleasant tutor to work with and is straightforward. I have personally recommended him to around 10 of my friends and all of those that have taken my advice have thanked me for it. Could not give a higher recommendation.
I took a 6-week, 5 day per week standard prep course to prepare for my first LSAT write, and my results were not great. In preparing to rewrite, I found John, and did 10 sessions with him. My understanding of all major concepts on the test vastly improved, and my LSAT score ended up jumping 10 points on my subsequent write. John is not A tutor, he is THE tutor if you want to find success on the LSAT. I have, and will continue to strongly recommend John's tutoring to friends and family.
John is definitely the best tutor for the LSAT. He is very intelligent and relays the information in a way that is easy for you to understand. He also creates a personalized study schedule to ensure that you get the most out of the tutoring and do your best on the test. John is the second tutor that I have used for the LSAT and I wish I had found him sooner. I recommend John to everyone who needs a tutor!
I contacted John a couple months ago in regards to assistance with my LSAT and John went above and beyond with his teaching abilities. I have had a couple LSAT tutors among the years and John is by far the best in his teaching abilities. He clearly breaks down certain methods for obtaining the correct answer and takes his time to ensure that you understand. I am really impressed with his abilities to teach and I am so excited for the progress we have made.
John went above and beyond to help me improve. I moved up 22 points in less than 5 months with John AFTER a year of studying on my own and barely improving. You can tell he's amazing at his job after talking to him for 60 seconds. You will not regret hiring him.
It did not take long for me to realize I had picked the right LSAT Tutor. In fact, my realization hit me during John's free consultation. I had very ambitious goals and he was more than willing to push me to achieve them. However, the most important thing was his availability. Even if I had a LSAT question at 11pm or 6am, within a reasonable timeframe, John always answered. That support is rare to find which helped ease my anxiety during my months of studying. I cannot recommend John enough!
