I'm not usually a huge fan of pancakes but I kept seeing their blueberry pancakes online and knew I had to try it. So filling! I loved that they added bacon to their pancakes, it really went well together with the syrup and other sauces. The burger was also super juicy and had tons of flavour. Also decided to get their orange and mango fresh pressed juices. Mango was super interesting because it's not something you can usually get so I was a huge fan! Even though you had to wait outside for pickup, they have a super aesthetic setup, so if you go, be sure to take some pics by their neon sign!

I have wanted to try Old School for awhile. We ordered a feast from there - the famous blueberry pancakes, mac and cheese with fried chicken, mozzarella sticks and their version of a big mac. The burger was delicious, not greasy, lots of meat. It looked like how a big mac appears in commercials as opposed to what you actually get at mcds. We liked that the pancakes weren't dressed as we were saving them for later. When we ate them they were delicious and fluffy. 4 pancakes and 4 packs of blueberry compote. It paired so well with their flavoured butter and maple syrup. It was the perfect amount of sweet. The mac and cheese was great with the fried chicken, which added a nice texture. The mozzarella sticks were MASSIVE. They were really good, but I wish they came with a marinara sauce instead of BBQ. The BBQ sauce was a bit spicy. Still good regardless with unique flavours. I'm happy I finally got to try this place. They also provide a coupon for pick-up on your next order, and write a nice message thanking you for supporting local :)
The whole experience starting with the hostess to paying the bill was outstanding. Our waitress was so willing to accommodate my indecisiveness. Food was remarkable. The coffee is strong which is great to start the morning. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! Even the music is old school. Which is just my type of place. The atmosphere is welcoming.
For takeout brunch, this was good! I don’t know if I would have ordered it if I wasn’t eating it immediately in my car as I feel like it would get too soggy and cold, but it was good fresh! The pancakes were phenomenal and so flavourful. The Benny was a little dry (could use more than just 1 small container of hollandaise) and I found the hollandaise lacked a little flavour. But definitely worth checking out, especially with their 20% off takeout right now!
Lovely food! Staffs are kind too. I ordered blueberry pancake sauce on the side bcz i don't want to eat too much sweet things but actually the blueberry sauce was awesome!!!Eventhough i don't prefer blueberry taste. But the only reason why i give 3 stars(I want give 3.5 stars) is the coffee was not that hot as much as i want. Maybe i should order make it hot later! And also one staff who served our food said whatever. He said this is cappuchino but actually he served machhiato what we originally ordered. And we asked him again " Isn't it machiatto?" and he said whatever! He made us confused. And I surprised that he didn't check the menu what he serve. Anyway I believe the food was nice and the restaurant is good to enjoy brunch.
I ordered a takeout and asked the server that is there cutlery and extra salt and pepper in the bag, she gave me the confidence that you have plenty of everything. I was planning to have this in my car but when I opened the bag there was no cutlery neither salt or pepper. I am sure it looks like a small thing but I am sure you cannot eat the meal without the cutlery.
We visited this restaurant today and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The entire staff was super friendly and extremely accommodating. John was our server and made sure we were warm and comfortable. He switched our table to a better one, each time an opportunity allowed for it. It was a cold day and they made it as warm as could be considering the circumstances. We had the chicken and waffles which were superb. I cannot wait to come back and I highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!
