Maybe the best record store in Toronto? Quite a safe sentence. They have an extreme collection of classic vinyls, cool merchandise and top class DJ equipments. The owner is a great guy and is a veteran in the industry. Should definitely check the store out if you're in Toronto.

I've been buying HipHop records at Play De for almost 30 years. Best prices, best selection. The owner Eugene is great, very knowledgable, always has good recommendations.
Eugene, Donna, and the rest of the crew at Play De are awesome. A legendary store with legendary memories, and legendary vinyl in all categories. They have a stacked selection of solid DJ and studio gear (also are authorized dealers for many brands) and the best part is if you tell em’ Tricky sent you I’m sure they’ll hook you up (right Eugene?!). We traveled two hours to come to this place because they were the only place we could get a Tyler the Creator LP, the owner was a friendly guy and was very helpful the store itself definitely has alot of character , organized chaos would be a good describer but I like the feel of the place and I will definitely look him up Again
This is a great record store with some of the best pricing in Toronto. Great selection of hip-hop. Very welcoming, friendly staff, zero pretension. A little bit messy. Thumbs up.
