We are about sustaining the organizations that work on sustainability. Our capacity building programs and services include: Training Workshops - We organize customized workshops to help leaders of environmental nonprofits develop their management skills. Session topics cover the scope on nonprofit managed issues ranging from fundraising to project management and from communications to collaboration. Learning Networks - Regional or subsector ENGO leaders are brought together three times over two years for three-day residential retreats to receive advanced organizational training, learn from their peers and explore boarder issues facing the sector. Currently, we organize Learning Networks in the Boreal region of Canada and for our Good to Great Program. Good to Great Program - 'Good to Great’ is an organizational capacity building program that provides an opportunity for ENGOs to consider, develop and implement strategies to significantly increase their impact through Direct Management Assistance (DMA) and Learning Networks. The DMA aspect of the program provides Good to Great organizations with support to enable them to work with an experienced consultant or resource person over many months on processes that build organizational capacity and enhance organizational effectiveness. ELP - ELP is an economic literacy project for the environmental community that combines training for ENGOs with a series of events highlighting initiatives that support a smarter and sustainable economy. Public Forums - We host public forums in Toronto to bring together the ENGO community. Speakers have included: Michael Adams, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elizabeth May.
