Loved the only Hostel. The place is really well kept. The atmosphere is great and tbe staff are friendly and more importantly really cool. It felt like hanging out rather than stying in a hotel. The breakfasts were amazing too. Get down early though, sometimes there's muffins and pastries but they go fast. I think I ate the most I have my entire trip there, and iv been traveling for two months . The bar and cafe attached means you don't have to look for a good place to spend the day because your already in one. Seriously next time I visit Toronto I might just spend my time there relaxing and recuperating now iv seen the sights. Greek town is cool as well. Loads of coffee shops and life in the place. The underground/bus station is right behind the hostel to get to town and there's good jazz, rock.and hip-hop bars/clubs near by. There are some good beaches there too and during the sumer they have music and a real party atmosphere. Go here, love here.
This Hostel Rocks! I came here without a reservation for a bed and was accommodated and given a bunk very fast. I slept in a women's only room with just four beds and it was very comfortable. Wifi is speedy. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and plenteous. I especially loved the granola that I had for breakfast. And the location is pretty prime. I went to various thrift stores and eateries here that were within walking distance. It is located just a stone's throw from the train station and having a bar beneath the hostel makes it easy to meet people!
We stayed for 4 nights and it was what we expected! We had a private room, a place to sleep, it was calm and secured for half price and even more compare to an hotel! It was all we needed ;) A cool thing though is the bar at the first level, they have good microbrewery beers, on tap and in bottle :) Other than that, the included breakfast is fair enough, simple, dont expect scramble eggs and bacon ;) Finally, it's 1-2 minutes walking distance from the subway station from where you can go downtown within 20-25 minutes.
I love going here, every time I stay overnight in Toronto will be here. The people you meet are lovely, there is free breakfast, wifi, and showers and the beds are very reasonably priced. It is right around the corner from a subway station and transportation to and from is very simple, plus it is well maintained so you never have to worry about bed bugs or dirty sheets. Cozy, fun, and relaxing 10/10 ️️️️️
For the price you are getting way more than I could have asked for. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms impeccable. Furthermore, the coffee shop is a wonderful addition to complete the setup. Could have happy stayed here for days at end and not felt out of place.
Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great breakfast.. cereal, fruit, eggs, toast, jam. One day we got muffins! Safe and secure with friendly staff.
One of the best Hostels that I have ever been. Cool stuff, nice bar and cafeteria downstairs. Amazing infrastructure. The only negative thing for me is that you are not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages in any part of the hostel, including the kitchen or social zone, what would be good to gather some people there and have fun!
