Absolutely wonderful surgery. I’d say the best in south Devon at least. It was never an issue getting a phone call from the GP which normally ended up in getting an appointment. Haven’t had to use them that often as I try to help myself when I can. Unfortunately I’m no longer able to be registered here as we moved to Paignton and they gave us no choice but told us we have to change. Such a shame as it’s the only decent surgery around. I’m now with Mayfield and the less I say about that practice the better. If you’re looking through reviews, wondering which surgery to register with, then I doubt you will do better than Chilcote if you live or are staying in Torquay. Very professional and their timescales are realistic. Highly recommended surgery! Well done to all the GP’s, nurses, admin and practice manager.

I have always found the reception staff, nurses and doctors to be professional and caring. I recently needed to see someone but couldnt ring until late morning but I got a call back from a doctor followed by an appointment that same afternoon which is wonderful service!

After SEVENTEEN years of successfully managing CHRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT, a GP who has NEVER discussed it with me, has DESTROYED my Mental Health and my Pain Management. Despite disregarding my INFORMED knowledge on my chronic condition and SPECIALISTS, these people have conspired to completely override it, and with no warning, STOPPED access to morphine sulphate. They also prescribed me Pregabalin, knowing that I am on Buprenophine, despite the SEVERE risks of the interactions of the two medications which result in Respiratory arrest, Coma and DEATH. I will be seeking legal representation

Good surgery normally you can see a doctor the same day depending on doctor who calls you back. Or alternatively you may be referred to see a nurse who will check you over.
