We had a great stay in one of the cabins. Cozy and comfortable, nice balance of rustic but covering a lot of needs like a fridge, lots of counter space and nice view over the spa area. The beer was great too! One suggestion is if you are a light sleeper you may want earplugs as there is a nearby train. Certainly not a fault of the beer spa! Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere unique to go

The staff are beyond friendly, the beer is excellent, the cabins are clean and cozy.... what more can I say. Not only did all of the people I went with have a great time but the dogs did also. Hope to go back again and again.

Outstanding concept and unbelievable staff! From the minute of arrival to the moment we left the staff was outstanding! We arrived and was greeted by Brandy who was so wonderful! She let us know where we would find our cabin and provided us a free flight of beer to try. I am typically not a fan of small breweries however I found quite a few beers I enjoyed! The vibe is so laid back and enjoyable. We met Abbie the following day and she was so sweet!! The cabins were perfect size and were loaded with treats! We tried to stay an extra night, however they were already booked. Can’t wait to get back this summer!!

Ok so our stay was pretty good. The resort grounds are really nice and the beach is beautiful (just a little small). Staff were nice, it was low key, location was great for a day trip into town or to go hiking and it was stress free. Would be a great place for a young family. Cute touches with the snacks, baked goods and Bon fires. why then just a 3? It is expensive for what you are getting about 500 for the two night weekend. I found the pricing confusing, as you pay per person per night. Our cabin (#9) had two double beds so if we decided to go with two friends it would have been double the price? Other things, My husband and I went and we're told to bring queen sheets but then it was a double bed. In our cabin you could smell the septic/sulfury smell. For a weekend it's good but I can imagine staying much longer as the kitchen is not stocked with any basics at all and there's only a microwave kettle and coffee maker. And you need to bring your own drinking water. The fridge is full sized but all the shelves were removed so you could get a keg (30L only)installed. I would have like to get more beer but visitors don't get a deal and due to covid they had no cans of beer. We ended up getting growlers which was ok!! All in all is was a good experience. The area is beautiful and luckily our weather was fantastic.

Muskoka Beer Spa is a great hidden treasure, although it needs some tweaking in a few places. We came here for my partners birthday and had a wonderful time. Highlights include the in cottage beer tap, vhs collections, comfy couches, clear skies and the food, which was amazing! The way they do things here is a little different and I enjoyed that. For example, the kitchenette included has a microwave and a crock pot, and then at the brewery on site, they sell frozen crock pot meals you can cook in room. You can also order a lot of the same food full service from the restaurant, which stays open until around 10 pm. We did have to request a replacement for our VHS on the first night, which was fine because they had the new one to us very early the next day. The collection of films is extensive and nostalgic. It’s also neat that they include a plethora of free in room snacks! My main feedback would be to configure a redesign in the cabins. While they are comfortable enough, and sizeable, it did feel rudimentary. There is literally zero noise cancellation. We had the 3 bedroom cabin, and could look and hear directly in to the next 2 bedrooms through cracks in the wooden boards. Same goes between floors. The bedrooms are upstairs, while the TV is downstairs and it is impossible to not hear the TV anywhere in the cabin if it is on. As well, the bathroom flooring felt cheap, and the bathtub is not really for any sort of “lounging” scenario. It does feel strictly like a stand up bath. Considering the pricing here, which starts at 99 per person, per night, I wish the cabins were a bit sturdier. To fill this cabin with 6 adults for a weekend, and not even have anyone on the couch, it would cost 1200 tax food drinks. That’s a steep price to not have any other services or privacies built in. However, they are still building and we look forward to coming back!

Nice location but this wasn't the best visit to Muskoka. The "spa" owners tried to accommodate us and make the stay better, but the reservation was cut short by a day due to a sewage leak. Arriving a day later than originally planned, the cabin still had an unpleasant odor in certain areas. One interesting tidbit about the cabin is they had left HUNDREDS of VHS movies in the cabin for the occupants to use. Thinking this was a little nostalgic to play a cassette tape movie to show the kids, we did intend on playing one the evening we were there, but unfortunately the VCR in the cabin didn't work.

What an awesome anniversary stay we had here! Amazing hospitality from all staff, beautiful cabins - super comfortable and cozy. You get so many snacks in your room - perfect for watching a movie with, which you can do with the bajillions of VHS movies available in your cabin! Tonnes of places to light a campfire and roast some marshmallows. Great beer! Pastries delivered in the morning to your cabin and dog friendly to boot! We will definitely be back. Can't wait for the beautiful spa to be ready as well!
