After living at this complex for 18 months I'm happy to have left - and should have left sooner. I was robbed three times while living here - two bikes stolen during separate incidents, and my external storage unit broken into. When adding my wife to the lease, the paperwork was handled incorrectly - requiring an extensive back-and-forth with the apartment office months later to remedy what should have been a simple addendum. It did eventually get resolved, but with weeks of delay. Finally, on move-out I was provided incorrect information - no final walk-through was provided when I requested one, and I was informed that there would be no charge for standard cleaning. This was incorrect. When the refund for my deposit arrived weeks later, I had been charged 400 for 'cleaning and carpet'. The apartment was left clean, and the carpet had been subjected to standard wear-and-tear. Given the opportunity to correct these charges, the management company stated that the conversation I had with the apartment manager can't possibly have happened, and that the charges would stand. __ Minor complains: the sound insulation is poor, so you need to get lucky in the neighbors you have. The upper floor apartments also get incredibly hot - it's unpleasant to stay home during the day. For what you pay, there are much better spots in the Torrance/Redondo Beach area. Keep looking.

I was charged 400 out of my deposit and was denied a walk through before leaving the apartment. Management left something to be desired. The carpet in the apartment gets very hot and you are not allowed to get laminated floor on the second floor. You are not allowed to install air conditioning. You do not get a refrigerator. You have to buy your own refrigerator. The sound insulation is so poor I could hear my neighbor snoring at night! I had to sleep in the living room many nights because of it. I give it an extra star because maintenance inside the apartment is very timely. Props to the maintenance team.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The pretty waterfall outside belies the rather neglected housing. Sound insulation is poor, so you can hear your neighbors walking in the apt above you, and following along with the TV program they watch. It's a 100-unit place so pretty much all day and night someone is driving in or out, contributing to the noise. Yes, the floors are spacious, but that's about the only plus.

So far so good. After the first month in this place both my wife and I are very happy... We are on the second floor and have no noise issue from any of the neighbors like someone here mentioned. It could be a problem for the first floor unita but on the second floor none at all... Will keep you updated.
