Stunning views, many voltures flying around the peak

Great bird of prey, visit vultures at their home. magnificent and special. glad I was here and hang for 1 to 2 hours. Such a beautiful experience, even knowing that the locals released rabbits so they find food and stay.
Absolutely stunning place to go. There's so much to see, take a good camera and just look in every direction for as long as you can. Binoculars will help too. Eagles, black storks, and literally hundreds of vultures, and a load of other stuff thrown in. Enjoy.
The most easily accessible cliff in the Monfragüe park and therefore always busy. Parking is limited so at peak birdwatching times you would have to arrive early or park further down the hill (on the north side) and walk. Mostly Griffon vultures on the cliff but right at the bottom, a few metres above the \high tide\ mark are a few Black Stork nests. There is also a Griffon or two nesting on the cliff above the river but on the road side of the river. They are easily overlooked as the young are the same colour as the rock. We also saw Blue Rock Thrush and a Rock Bunting close to the car park.
Amazing eagles observation place
