The TRIPOLUX – Industrias de Isolamentos, Ltd. has developed in Portugal SCREEN thermal insulating Thermo reflector, acoustic and barrier to the steam, where the main factor is the isolation of reflection. The main motivation of this project was to provide an alternative to insulating products for driving, with less volume (takes less than 1 cm thick to be effective heat), less harmful to health (health harmless plastic), lighter (a roll less than 3 kg in weight), better handling / flexibility (easily adapts to all shapes, do not break), more durable (it does not disappear with time), stronger (condensations) and ultimately a lower cost. The main applications are in boxes, tubes, between floors, and roof coverage (either directly beneath the shingles and on top of the concrete beams or below the wood) allowing habitability of attics and roofs, covers ships industries, etc..
