We ( I live in a condo complex) hired Total Asphalt to do a tear-out and construct a new driveway for 4 units. Although we found out the sub structure was not up to code, and needed to be updated at a higher cost estimate, everything looks great and the water drainage is good. We have one issue and I contacted Bob, he came over and checked it out and said he would take care of the problem when weather permits. I'm satisfied with the work performed and the clean-up afterward.

I am very happy with my experience with Total Asphalt. All three crews, who came out to work on the driveway, were professional, friendly and answered all our questions. The finish product was excellent. I would hire them again.
One of the Drivers for what ever reason stopped right in the middle of the intersection and when I tried to go around her speed up like she wasn't going to let me over. Then after I passed she followed me to the next light spewing obscenities at me and proceeded to follow me for around 10 miles running her mouth at every light. Exactly what kind of people do you have working here? I think by the size of the truck and the way your driver was acting not the most responsible.
I hired Total to do a driveway replacement a little over a year ago. Their price was midrange but because of good reviews and being somewhat local we decided to hire them. What a BIG mistake! Their workmanship is mediocre at best. After one year the base and topcoat has begun to fail leaving cracks along the edge of our drive. It is also apparent that they broke the tie backs in the retaining wall at the approach causing it to fail also. I have tried multiple times to set up an appointment with Bob to come and have a look with no success. The one time I actually was able to talk to Bob I found him to be dismissive and unconcerned about the issue. The whole experience with Total from the day they started the job until now (a year later) has been terrible! It’s apparent that all the owners care about is getting their money and not standing by their work. Hire Total at your own risk!
Total Asphalt Paving came out a week ago to rebuild our Driveway and i must state that we are very happy with the results. They were prompt with coming out for an estimate and followed up last week with ripping up the old Driveway and resurface with a new one. The Crew was very efficient and Professional. It has now rained a few times and the rain water is draining beautifully. If you are in need of a new Driveway, give Total Asphalt a call.
