Sit down in a curio shop and get fed things you had no idea existed. A genuine couple from Italy who love people, perhaps even more than food, bring you ideas in the form of dishes that are charming, thrilling, even confusing. Feel the trust they have for you, and you find you have for them. Realise you are part of the process, that art and flavour and delight and texture and melody can all be blended. Wonder whether another rave review would somehow overwhelm this beautiful act of creation, break it perhaps. But also know, as well as you know anything if you think yourself one of the foodie types, that this experience puts meals at Michelin starred restaurants to shame. It wins on drama with the cluttered understated setting. It wins on intimacy and service with a flourish and laughs that only comes from a true heart. It wins on flavour and texture and fragrance and variety and simplicity. It wins, it wins, it wins. Bravo, Bianca e Massimo!

Excellent service from the moment I walked through the door. Really enjoyed the antipasti and we had such a giggle being waited on by Massimo, they provide a truly memorable experience. The food is delicious and if you can fit it in, I would definetely try their sweet treats - Highly highly reccomend if you are in Totnes!
Unique and welcoming place! Our meal was absolutely delicious, unusual flavours not to be missed! Definitely going back. Bianca does all the cooking, Massimo all the talking:-) Thank you for having us. We will be back.
Poor value for money. 5 worth of ingredients for 75. Restaurant looks and smells like a charity shop, decorated with left wing woke political posters and an EU flag. Gives you the unique experience of being fleeced and lectured to at the same time. Update: Thank you for your charming response below. I note you penned an almost identical response to a one star review on Tripadvisor. However, I think you have us confused with another party. There were four of us, there was no corkage or coffees on our order. We had 3 tiny plates of (dried, not fresh) pasta with a lukewarm mushroom sauce. My tasteless ‘avocado meal’ consisted of a few salad leaves, 4 olives and breadsticks with a dip (this appetiser sized dish costs 14) Drinks consisted of pomegranate juice, a ginger drink and tap water. This “organic” offering took 10 minutes to bring to the table. You’re right, we do live in different planets. Mine is Earth. I have visited many vegan restaurants that serve excellent value high quality food, but I’m afraid yours isn’t one of them. I’m perfectly entitled to offer you feedback. I don’t mind your EU flag in the slightest, but I find it hard to believe your printed rainbow Hope Not Hate (a political organisation) poster is an original art piece? The irony being the hate and venom that is evident in your bizarre response. Maybe stick to cooking instead of lecturing your customers. So disappointing.
The food here is absolutely brilliant, prepared and cooked to perfection by Bianca. Her knowledge of good ingredients is very impressive, as is her ability to combine them to create such a range. I think this was particularly shown in the anti-pasta, highly recommended! Massimo's hosting is also brilliant, and he will ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the evening. Together, they've created a remarkable and intimate restaurant.
