Totnes itself is a unique, thriving town with lots of original shops. I came to visit a friend. Parked at this location. Walking distance to the town. Beautiful spot, cheap parking and lovely river walks.

Watched rowers on the river. For about an hour. Really good how they appear to glide over the water

We love this walk.... although we have to be careful in the woods as there are often burning embers from fires and so much litter and debris from folk living there... so we keep on the path. Sadly the walk along the river adjacent to the Dart walk is now almost impassable if your dog has short legs as the bridges have been broken. Not sure the title 'outstanding beauty' is relevant anymore... but certainly \enjoyable\. We've also recently spotted a dolphin! bridges have been repaired. huge amount of broken glass in the wooded area... one of my dogs cut his paw.. not badly but enough to curtail our walk and I had to carry him back to the car.
