Been an owner/landlord at renaissance manor in Clifton for 9 years and have seen ZERO updates/ renovations to the facility. There is still wallpaper and paper thin, worn away carpet in the hallways since the building was originally built. The elevator is malfunctioning on a weekly basis and the lobby/hallways always have a smell of mildew and odor. Snow removal doesn’t show up until a day after the storm and minimal cleanup is done. The lot is filled with ice and have seen cars slide into one another. If you call the maintenance office you receive nothing but clueless responses and a poor attitude. I feel bad for the super because there is only so much he can do and unfortunately he has no control over what this poorly managed complex does with their budget. Somebody is going to fall on the poorly cleaned sidewalks and have an injury and this place will be sued.

I have lived in Renaissance Manor Clifton, NJ for the last 4 years and there are constantly problems here. The super doesn’t do much, we have companies to everything such as washing windows...or snow plowing yet we pay for him to live here and be on call 24/7. When it’s time to clean there’s always extra help because it’s “too much”. Don’t get me started up on Shaune who we are supposed to be emailing with concerns and complains. I have had a leak coming into my apartment for the last 2 years from an electric box that is not correctly insulated. I have sent in numerous emails and she never even bothers to reply. She is very nasty to owners at the meetings. Hampton management has know the roof here needs to be fixed for 10 years! Now they hit us with an extra 62 For 2 years on our maintenance to save up to fix the roof. Even though I live on the first floor and the roof shouldn’t concern me. The way they manage money is ridiculous for 10 years they haven’t been able to save up to fix the roof yet for every little thing that needs to be fixed such as a lock, or a drain pipe we pay thousands of dollars to private contractors.When a drain pipe burst near my apartment and I was flooded the super told me “I could fix this but they don’t pay me for that”. Just a heads up if your thinking of living anywhere this place manages!! Think again.
