We had a small leak in under bathroom sink and the guy named Sam came over and told me it would cost 350 to replace a drain pipe and that he had to clear the clogging. However, It took him at most 15 minutes to complete the job which made me feel i got ripped off. After that talked to people who know plumbing and I was told it shouldn’t not have been more than 200 at most. Not calling them anymore. Will report them to better business bureau.

The thing to know about McCormick plumbing is that it's NOT Stephen McCormACK plumbing of Montclair, NJ. The latter, which I have also used, is a great company with a deservedly stellar reputation. But I made the mistake (not helped by Google's search display) of accidentally calling McCormICK Plumbing--which I'd give it zero stars if I could! The person who answered didn't sound like McCormACK's office, so I asked, "Is this Stephen McCormack Plumbing?" The person said, "Yes"--clearly misleading customers to drum up business. What followed was a complete fiasco--wrong diagnosis of plumbing issue with an exorbitant price tag attached. So if you're trying to reach McCormACK Plumbing of Montclair, make sure you aren't duped, as I was, by McCormICK, which is ick.

We had the unfortunate experience of calling Mc Cormick Plumbing & Heating (aka Day and Night Plumbing and Heating) when our heat went out one evening. The employee who came spent one and a half hours checking our heating system. At first he said the pump wasn't working and then he told my husband that he fixed it. Even though it appeared he did nothing to it. He certainly never went out to his truck for any parts to fix it. Then he said that we needed two parts that he had to get and it would cost between 2200.00 and 2800.00. When he left, nothing was resolved. We still had no heat. He charged an EXORBITANT service fee -- 650.00 for doing a lot of examining but not solving our heating problems. I felt that he was dragging out the service call to get more money. He charged the 650.00 for one and a half hours of work. When we got a reputable heating repairman the next day, he said that the fan needed to be oiled. No new parts were needed for the job. When he left, the heat was working and he charged a fraction of what Mc Cormick charged for the service fee(650.00). This company is completely dishonest and preys on people who have heating emergencies. Go to the Better Business Bureau website (BBB) to see more complaints. (Some of them will make your hair stand on end.) STAY AWAY from Mc Cormick aka Day and Night Plumbing and Heating. I would give this company no stars if I could.
