Wow. What a great thing, totally hidden in the area of Nancy. Really, no one is going to Toul, but the nicer Cathedral is there. In French revolution they destroyed parts of the decoration, but the place is still amazing. A hidden gem.

Huge space with lots of recent history. Very beautiful.

Somewhat depressing and needing a little TLC. Not such an interesting interior as one might expect. Disappointing lack of ornamentation and information.

Very scenic and astonishing, sadly not very well know and kept. It conserves the first example of optic effects in France, as the bishop saw them in Italy. The cloister is the biggest in France after the one in Mont saint Michael. I would recommend visiting this rather than the one in Nancy. Must know the history, its very interesting. Nice gothic cathedral, entry is free. There is restoration in progress. There is collection of reliquary, including a sacred Foot. Toul has free parking spaces and nice café to enjoy before and after your cathedral visit

beautiful facade. Great light show during summer. If you have time, go and see the lovely little church across town Eglise St Gengoult

Strangely all of the statues have been removed from the front and inside, except a crucifixion on the front. Big gothic Cathedral, light inside, beautiful place, not on tourist trail but v good. Also walk around the ramparts of the town, good views. Great municipal flower plantings, best I've seen outside Hyde Park in London.

The Cathédrale de St.Étienne was really worth visiting, the outside as well as the inside. Don't forget to see the garden.
