Very pleasant bar with friendly staff. Table service during current Covid restrictions. Good range of gins. Good background music, not overpowering so you can still hold a conversation.
Called in Thursday night. All covid restrictions in place along with track n trace, felt very safe. Lovely little pub and staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks.
Where can I start with this pub, first thing I can say about this pub, is that they got the order wrong, I requested a soda and lime however they bought me cider, I didn't bother mentioning anything because I felt I would be bothering the bar staff, I drunk the drink and the drink was flat and tasted horrible, however I've only been here once and hope if I do come back here I hope the service will be better. On a good note the staff were very kind.
This pub seemed very welcoming from the outside but different story on the inside. First of all the staff looked very unhappy as if they didn't want to be here also when he'd done the order wrong he went off on one!The cutlery was unbelievable we went through about 5 pairs of forks and knifes to make sure we had clean ones. The stalls and Long bench chair looked disgusting as in it hadn't been polish and probably hasn't changed in the last 3 decades. The food was all right for the price though. 16 for 3 meals and drinks. But urgent improvement is needed here ! Won't be returning anytime soon!
