My husband and I went here summer before last & we loved it. The people are friendly and we absolutely loved that the beach is only for campers. So much less crowded, and better to relax. Highly recommend

This campground is very pleasant, quiet and worry is little here. The beach is beautiful, the campground is clean and the neighbors are helpful, caring and quiet. Although I've chosen to come alone to do some writing, I don't feel alone. There are many bathhouses where there are restrooms, play sights for children but the children are extremely well-behaved. I've seen children from very young to teenagers. Not one problem. Alcohol is prohibited which makes for kind and respectful campers. The lots are huge, include water, electricity, fire pit, grills and picnic tables. All lots are within close range of the lake. I'm an avid swimmer and the water is perfect! Gates open at 7 am and close at 10 pm. Being a lone female, I feel very safe! A major plus, in my opinion, it's very dark. I love very dark nights as they are peaceful to me! No matter how you camp, and I'm a tent camper, you'll enjoy every minute I'm here. Bravo to the Army Corp of Engineers on a perfect vacation!

Really nice campground the roads well laid out. The sites are very well set up and the area is beautiful. The park personnel couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Yhe price is hard to beat.

Very nice clean camp ground, great sandy beach, rv hook ups and water front lots. Stayed at lot 45 it was awesome. Be back again
