This was a business I patronized for years. When the older man ran it I did many transactions there because I was happy. I bought my father, my brother, my girlfriend, and my mother all matching silver chains. He sold me the loops and put the pendants on all the chains for me. The chains were high-quality and we still have them all today. I was very happy. He also Replaced watch batteries with no issues. However it appears the younger generation has taken it over. They think everybody is a mark apparently. I brought in a pendant to have a loop put on it. Everything I discussed before was solid sterling silver by the way. He put a loop on it and a year later the silver had worn off. It was a copper Loop coated in silver that didn't last a year. They charged me almost 50 for a tiniest piece of silver. Then tried to tell me that that's what I had purchased was a silver plated Loop. All those purchases I made before nothing I ever bought was plated, it was all solid Sterling. with the rising price of silver they just saw way to charge me and rip me off. I can't tell you how angry I was at being treated like I was stupid buy a bold-faced Thief. I would never buy anything from there ever again.
Turned watch in to get a batter replacement. Upon receipt, a hand on the watch was broken. They refused to fix this issue, without me paying another 30. The watch was in prestige condition when dropped off.
Left my watch to have the batteries replaced. When I came to pick it up, the lady said that someone before her had scratched the back of the watch and the wrist band, and told me to always take it to a professional. I had however taken pictures of my watch in the morning, which showed it unscathed. Then she argued that it is a very difficult watch, which is why she charged 29.95. I said that that would be okay if she had done a good job, but after scratching a 1200 watch and trying to blame it on someone else, I wasn't going to pay that price. She made a comment that it's interesting that I take a picture of the watch before bringing it in. I'm glad I did!
